DESCRIPTION

The Extron SW2 VGA DA2 A and SW2 VGA DA2 AF are combination active switchers and distribution amplifiers with stereo audio. Each switcher provides two inputs and dual buffered video outputs and PC audio buffering. Both models are ideal for presentation environments requiring a furniture-mountable switcher with the added convenience of a built-in distribution amplifier.

The SW2 VGA DA2 A and SW2 VGA DA2 AF provide 300 MHz (-3 dB) RGB video bandwidth and are compatible with VGA-QXGA and HDTV component video signals. Dual buffered video outputs allow for simultaneous viewing and recording of the selected input signal. Active PC audio buffering allows both models to input unbalanced audio on 3.5 mm stereo mini jacks, and output unbalanced and balanced audio on captive screw connectors. Balanced audio signals are much less susceptible to hum and interference over long cable runs.

The SW2 VGA DA2 A offers all input connections on the back panel while the SW2 VGA DA2 AF offers convenient access to I/O connections from the front panel. Front panel access makes the SW2 VGA DA2 AF an ideal solution for use in podium applications where one computer-video source is in a fixed location, and the second source is a laptop.
